For all you painin', achin', sore-ass people out there, I have some info to drop on you. Corey Buck is a great friend of mine, but he is also a licensed structural integrationalist (rolfing, osteo, deep tissue, cranial sacral, etc..), and an amazing one too!
I had my first session over two years ago when Corey was still attending at Rolf Institute in Colorado, and just beginning his craft. In the time since, I have had work done on most of my body in over 10 sessions. Before we even started, though, it was clear that this was more personal than a 1-hour mall or even spa massage. We would work before sessions with a variety of breathing, walking, and even standing exercises to breed proper posture. I have had work done by other masseuses and assure anyone that Corey's work is an entirely different and incredible experience.
Now, my real problem area is my right shoulder. It had been dislocated several times in the time prior to coming to Corey. I don't really believe in surgery, but it was absolutely killing me on a weekly--even daily basis. I was unable to throw a baseball or even swim properly, not to mention just simple movement could put it out. I have not dislocated my shoulder once since my very first session with Corey, and my movement is probably around 90% of what it used to be.
The shoulder is a wonder, the extension feels exquisite, but the real gift is the knowledge i've been given just knowing Corey. Through him, I have learned the power of deep breathing, proper posture, and relaxation techniques such as yoga nidra and falun dafa to calm myself and harness a greater power.
Finally, the most important thing is that Corey is still, and will always be learning and changing his art. His abilities to heat a muscle and extend deep tissue are beyond anyone else's that i've felt and his drive to find better health empowers me to want to do the same. You're my boy!

Hi Corey, I had a great session with you yesterday, and I went right home and took a bath in Epsom salts and sea salts like you suggested. I feel great today, and I keep on thinking about what we talked about yesterday regarding posture and walking...what a huge difference it is making for me. Thanks so much! So, I of course want to have another session with you...but, more than that, I want to talk with you about doing some long-term healing of my body so I can be fully healthy and functional. So, where do we begin? Please let me know when the next time you'll be here...please! Also, I think my partner, Martha, might like to have a session next time as well...Along those same lines, I was raving about you to my teacher/acupuncturist today at work, and she is interested in receiving a treatment from you as well (maybe a series). Also, I have another friend who has MS. And I was just talking with her about my session with you and sharing some of what you said about walking properly, which she in turn started to do as we spoke, and it made a huge difference to her. She is also thinking about having some work done by you when you are in town. She lives in the Santa Rosa area...do you see folks down there when you come through? Inquiring minds want to know. I had a chest injury from a Mix Martial Arts incident that I had been suffering with for several years and after just a few sessions incorporating all of Corey’s techniques I felt physically and emotionally better. I just finished his "Structural Integration" (series of 10 sessions) and will be promoting Buck every chance I get. $110 dollars is a ridiculous value for how much energy he invests in the sessions and your well being... Corey and his wife Chelsea are top notch people.
